Well it is 2:00 Monday morning, and I am finally recovered enough to write about Matt and Kristen’s wedding. Apparently it must have taken a lot out of me because I’m not sure what happened to Sunday. It was an honor and a pleasure to shoot this wedding, and the reception was tons of fun. Kristen, her Mom “Mo”, and Matt have been following my blog for over a year now, so I felt connected to them going in and knew we would all have a great time. Kristen also knows I like to do my artsy thing with the wedding dress so she had the perfect spot picked out, and the dress all set to go when I arrived.
Janet Shortall officiated one of the nicest ceremonies that I have had the pleasure of being at. She always seems to do such a tremendous job but there was something special, and peaceful about this ceremony. The reception was at the Benn Conger Inn, and Innkeepers Peter Zon and Douglas Yurubi made sure that everyone had a wonderful time. Michael Erb provided the entertainment and rocked the house down.
Kristen and Matt rented a trolley for the wedding party and built in a little extra time for the creative portrait session. It was awesome because we were all able to travel together, and didn’t have to rush through my favorite part of the day. They also made arrangements beforehand to photograph in the Andrew D. White Library at Cornell University. I have photographed in there plenty of times when I worked for Cornell, but never with a bride and groom. The place is magnificent, and lent itself to some great photo opportunities.
Thanks so much to everyone for such a fantastic time. I wish you much love and happiness on your new journey together. Please click on an image to see it larger, and click here for their slideshow.
Really awesome stuff here Frank!!! I shot one at the Benn Conger Inn this year as well. If you are ever up my way (Syr) & want some tag-a-long company just give me shout.

Every few days for the past year, I've visited your blog and yet I was not prepared to see these absolutely stunning pictures. Immediate tears... You blow me away me away with your talent. It was a beautiful, beautiful day and your pictures will forever keep that day alive in our memories. I loved the fact that you were right out there dancing with us and snapping pictures. It is one of my favorite memories of the day. For each of you brides, grooms and families who will follow Frank's blog over the next few months until your wedding, enjoy the images and take it all in. You will not be disappointed - he is simply the best. Take care Frank - be well.
